Meet John

Hi, I'm John Lucas Jr. I am a sports and wildlife photographer, based out of Spring Arbor Township Michigan.

In my early teens, I started to develop an appreciation for sports and wildlife photos. As I dabbled in photography, I learned I had an eye for it, and my involvement playing sports helped me develop very quick reflexes that are needed to capture great sports photos. My teenage son is my favorite subject, but I enjoy photographing anything that moves fast. I have successfully photographed youth sports, college hockey, Indycar racing, Nascar racing, and Major League Baseball.

In my personal time, I enjoy hanging out with my family, friends, and pets. I also enjoy downhill skiing, mountain biking, hiking, and kayaking.

I have captured so many memories of my son, his teammates, and professional athletes doing what they love. I look forward to capturing memories for you!
